Herdwatch in Dairymaster Awards Final

We are very proud to have been shortlisted for the final of one of the most prestigious events in the Ag Tech calendar, the Dairymaster Rural Innovation Awards (Farm Innovation category), supported by the Farmers Journal, Teagasc and DARD.

The event took place on May 26th in Tralee, Co. Kerry, and included a motivational talk from Dr Edmond Harty of Dairymaster and a tour of his Causeway factory. Having been there before, it was a real treat to go back to this inspiring place and company, which looks more like NASA than a dairy equipment manufacturing operation! With our small but dedicated team, we have started a small "Mobile Farming Revolution" of our own, and we constantly look up to Dairymaster as a model of innovation in farming, so it is an absolute honour to be recognised by them, and the other leading agri organisations involved in the Rural Innovation Awards.

The overall winner, Recovery Haven, a fantastic and innovative volunteer organisation, took home a €15,000 package.

Herdwatch has been blessed with success in various prestigious awards recently, and with the support of almost 1,000 farmers since we launched last year, and reaching the Rural Innovation Awards final was another great achievement considering they received 14o applications.
